For the paint use basic colors red,bule,yellow and white is fine. I used some greens as well.

Brushes can be any type as well although there are brushes made for watercolor. I used a round brush they are great for water color use.

The pallet can be anything, I even use wax paper if I have nothing. A small cup with water is neassary for painting. the amount of

water used will determine how the painting will look. Lastly a drawing to paint. Drawing a smiple flower on water color paper is good.

step one

Start with a clean drawing on water color paper. I was able to draw a house plant. Try to keep it simple, so painting will be easy.

Step 2

Now put down a color for the background I used a light blue, to bring out the green.

Step 3

With the basic background color down, start with the base colors on the drawing.

Step 4

Now we can start painting the flowers. I used a purple for the base.

Step 5

Now for the last step, The detailing. Use shadows or outling to style your painting. I used a outling technique to finish my painting.
