WhoIsAriel was born in Queens and raised in Elmont NY. Over the years, he taught himself how to play piano and later learned his way around guitar, bass, and even a little bit of drums. Around the age of 16 he began writing poetry and within the next year he was making beats, rapping, and writing songs. Having full control of his brand and being able to build it all from the bottom up was his goal. Taking music seriously since the age of 18, he is now 22 with 2 official projects: The Golden Tape and Zoose. Zoose, being his latest project, shows his tremendous growth and versatility as an artist/producer by bringing Hip Hop to a new and modern space while preserving the essentials of the genre. On top of all that, Ariel and his team are also producing events around the city and steadily growing their following.

“The mark of a truly successful individual is that of one who is able to craft a unique vision and then apply themselves to bring it to life” - Karl Valere

Projects

The Golden Tape is Ariel's first official, full length Hip Hop project. 10 self-produced tracks illustrate a cohesive story following the artist's life, ambitions, and message. Lyrically, Ariel sets himself apart with strong punchlines in every song whether it's deeply introspective or more braggadocious. The clean, yet soulfull and sometimes gritty production is what really gives the music on this project an edge as Ariel goes in with deep and relatable content all while remaining positive and true to himself.

"Zoose” is now Ariel's second full length Hip Hop project. All the instrumentals are self-produced and all the lyrics are written by him. The music on this project is an accumulation of vibes and experiences met on the rise to success. Through moments of invincibility, vulnerability, ambition and confidence, the New York native uses 10 tracks to tell a story and build his unique versatility. While creating modern sounds yet integrating hip hop essentials in his music, Ariel's wordplay and lyrical ability is second nature. The title "Zoose" is a play on the name of the Greek god "Zeus" which Ariel relates to being the god of your own world and having the ability to manifest the life you want to live.
